(Alfred Pryor was the son of Allen Pryor and Cinderilla of Jackson Co., TN. He is on the 1850 and 1860 Census in Jackson Co. and on the census records of Franklin Co., TN starting in 1870. In 1900 Josephine Pryor Purcell - see Rutha Pryor below - and was living with Alfred and recorded as his niece. In 1920 Alfred was living with Josephine and recorded as her uncle. Josephine's father was born about the same time as Alfred's so it is unlikely that he was a son of Allen Pryor. Perhaps Allen and Thomas Pryor were brothers.)
** Nancy Pryor, daughter of Allen Pryor and Cinderella, married John Smith in Franklin Co., IL on 17 Mar 1871. Eli Smith is Nancy's son and the newphew of Alfred Pryor.
