It is believed that Chesley Allen Pryor is the son of Edward Pryor and Eliza Knight. It is also suspected that he is the same person who was known as Shadrack/Shade Pryor, a son of Edward Pryor and Eliza Knight. Chesley first appears in the census records in KY in 1880, by 1900 he is in TN living near the Overton Co. Pryors. Shadrack Pryor married Sarah Walker. While there is no trace of Shadrack in the Census records, we are able to find Chesley and his wife Katherine Walker.

Time Line for Shadrick/Chesley Allen Pryor
